Joshua Distler Creative Director, Founder

Joshua Distler is a designer whose work has received awards and honors from the likes of I.D. Magazine, Communication Arts, the Type Directors Club, and the American Center for Design. He has designed collateral for industry-leading firms such as Landor Associates, Clement Mok Design, IDEO, Metadesign and Apple. Joshua is the founder of Joshua Distler Design, a print and web design company; and Shift, an online font foundry whose fonts have been utilized by MTV, VH1, in television commercials and in Spin Magazine.
Originally from New York City and Southern Vermont, Joshua lives in San Francisco, California. When not designing, he likes to pursue his study of sushi and finer curries.

Stephanie Snyder Contributing Writer

Stephanie Snyder is a curator, installation artist and writer. She received degrees from Reed College [undergraduate] and Columbia University [graduate] and has completed projects in spaces such as: Artists Television Access [SF], ABC No Rio [NY], The New Museum of Contemporary Art [NY], the Pilchuck Glass School [WA], the Vortex Gallery [SF] and the Staller Center for the Arts at SUNY Stony Brook [NY].
She is currently the Director of the Douglas F. Cooley Memorial Art Gallery at Reed College in Portland, Oregon, where she curates and organizes four exhibitions annually.
