Holiday closing and shipping deadline: designobject shipping and customer service will close on December 21st, 2002 and will reopen on January 2nd, 2003. All orders due to be shipped before December 21st must be placed by midnight (US Pacific Time) December 18th to ship on time. Some items may continue to ship during the holidays. The remaining orders will resume shipping on January 2nd. Gift certificate email delivery will remain available during the break. During the month of October, designobject will be working through the American Red Cross to donate 15% of its net proceeds from online sales (the amount we get from our online sales after we pay the designers, tax, shipping, and credit card processing fees) to the National Disaster Relief Fund. After the terrible events of September 11th, our lives, though changed forever, are beginning to return to something resembling normality. Our thoughts will continue to be with those affected by this horrible tragedy. We're working to find the most effective way that we can use this site to help directly.
